Alessandro Riva - Editor
Art critic, writer and journalist, was born in Milan in 1964. Like a critic, he conceived and organized numerous exhibitions in public and private spaces, working especially on the new Italian figuration, with a great attention to youth artistic phenomena.
Among the exhibitions that he treated, remember: L'Officina milanese (1997), Cronache Vere (1998), Il nuovo ritratto in Italia (1998), Trapassato Futuro (2000), Sui generis, al Padiglione d'arte contemporanea di Milano (2000-2001), Totemica, feticci e rituali del contemporaneo alla Casa del Mantegna di Mantova (2001), Tutto l'odio del mondo all'Arengario di Palazzo Reale di Milano (2001-2002) e Italian Factory, la Nuova scena artistica italiana (in Strasburgo, at the European Parlament), became part of the 50th Venice Biennale is held by the Promoter of Fine Arts in Turin (2003).Like a journalist, write on Corriere della Sera Magazine, on Domenicale and on Giudizio Universale. Like a writer has published Racconti su Antologie (Mondadori, Stampa alternativa, Es). With Marcos y Marcos has published collections of stories Dogana inspired to Luca Pignatelli's pictures, and with Baldini & Castoldi, Un delitto al giorno, written to four hands with Lorenzo Viganò.
